Billings, Montana (PRWEB) May 20, 2015
Community 7 Television and community partner, Avitus Group, are set to launch new television and online programming in June, 2015. The new program is called City Streets, Country Roads and highlights the reasons people live, visit and work in Yellowstone County, Montana. Each month, the 30 minute program takes a look at one of six key industries: business/retail, oil and gas, hospitals, tourism, non-profit and arts and culture. The show concept revolves around connecting deep rural roots in the Yellowstone Valley to vibrant life in Montana’s urban hub, Billings.
“With the popularity of online programming, our audience is expanding and always looking for new, quality programming. City Streets, Country Roads is possible because of wonderful community partners like Avitus Group that take a true interest in the communities they are part of,” says Community 7 Television General Manager Tim Harrington. “The quality of this new programming is outstanding. A big thanks goes out to our talented producers and co-hosts, Dianne Parker (Journalist) and Shoots Veis (Former Billings City Council member). The new programming is the perfect way to kick-start our board goals of developing community partnerships and making the public more aware of quality programming to grow our audience.”
“As a former Billings City Council Member, I’ve always been very community-minded. When Community 7 Television approached me about co-hosting the program, I jumped on board immediately,” says Community 7 Television Host Shoots Veis. “There are so many reasons we all call the Yellowstone Valley home and I’m happy to share those reasons as well as take a deeper look at the people, places and organizations that shape our city streets and country roads each month.”
“I love connecting with the community I live in and truly believe this is quality programming the public will enjoy,” says Community 7 Television Host and Avitus Group Public Relations Manager Dianne Parker. “I was honored when Community 7 Television approached me about producing and co-hosting the show. Shoots and I, along with the entire team at Community 7 TV, hope the show develops a loyal following and will encourage people to check out additional programming on Community 7 Television and online.”
